Pupils from St Mary's School in Falmouth went green last Thursday on a field trip to Roskrow wind farm.
With the help of Daniel Letch from Green Peninsula and Simon Pipkin from Cornwall Light and Power, the children from class six made the trip to learn all about renewable energy. One of treats was to climb to the base of one of the wind turbines to see how it worked.
Deputy head Helen Bancroft said: "This was a fantastic experience for the children to get a hands on insight into the importance of renewable energy. I cannot thank Daniel and Simon and their respective companies enough for this wonderful opportunity."
